- Beer, beautiful beer -

At Earth and Stars we are renowned for serving food that aims to showcase the best in local and seasonal produce. We believe our drinks range should reflect that too. As well ensuring our beer range is diverse and accessible to those with dietary requirements, we aim to make sure it shows off the best of what our local breweries have to offer. Below we’ve listed breweries that we always have in stock, and told you a little bit about why we love them.

Laine Brew Co.

Most Brightonians will recognise Laine’s colourful branding, with their cans and draught beers being beloved of the local pub circuit. They’ve recently launched their ‘All For One’ apprenticeship programme. The scheme aims to attract people from a range of backgrounds to join the team as brewing apprentices, with a view to increasing diversity within the brewing sector. Whilst the bulk of Laine beers are brewed out of their brewing hub just North of Brighton, exciting short-run beers also come from their brew pub in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine - just a few mintue’s walk from the Earth and Stars. We’re hard pressed to find a more local supplier!

gun brewery

Gun Brewery, based in the Sussex Weald, are another local superstar that we champion on our taps. We rotate their gluten-free cask beers on our dedicated gluten-free line, and their gluten-free, vegan Neon Angel is one of our most popular lagers. As well as fulfilling our pub ethos of being local and accessible, Gun are also committed to brewing in the most sustainable way they can from their idyllic farm brewery. They generate much of their own power through solar energy, the water used comes from their own spring, and spent grains are used to feed livestock in order to minimise waste.
